8:03pm: LONG TIME NO UPDATE!!


Well I got back from Florida on Monday and it couldnt have been a better vacation. I got to see Alex about 85% of the time. We spent alot of time at the beach (which was gorgeous) because its totally not like Mass. beaches at all. Not one speck of nasty seaweed, no dirty brown sand, and no $9 fee like at the Cape.
And the beaches seriously have no rules at all. Alex was able to do a friggin keg stand about 100 ft from a lifeguard station. Theres drinking everywhere and noone cares. Oh and you could stay as late as you want at the beach.
The weather was really nice, about 75 everyday, it got up to 80 mid week but didnt last long. The food was mostly Cajun and Im addicted. Both me and Alex are hooked on corn dogs too. We went to Sonic about 5 times and Im dying without my corndogs.
The hotel was really nice, had a little kitchen and a HUGE bed. So we were able to cook mac and cheese and stuff.
I got to hang out on base and that was interesting. Its really like a big, strict, college. They clean everything about 2 days a week, have formations to see if people are missing, etc. But there is fun stuff, the have a movie theater on base, bowling, a gym, some stores and "Portside." Which has a dance club for enlisted people and pool tables, an arcade, computers, and fun stuff. It was a really interesting experience.
We got to see a few appartments (my friends will be happy) but it turns out Im not moving to Pensacola. Which Im really sad about because I really liked the town and it would have been a cool place to stay. He'll be done with school there by the end of May. So theres no time for me to go down there. After that he gets transfered to his C school which could be from 1-4 months. Thats when Ill move down. And after that, we get our permanent duty station!! I love the word permanent. Haha cant spell it though.

All in all it was a huge tease, I miss him more than anything now and I wont get to see him til June probably when he comes home on a few days leave. Im used to it though its just hard after being with him so much in a week and then nothing for two months. :(

1:41am: Im in a werid mood. Just thinking of some memories and when I think about this past summer.. the whole thing seems like a dream. Werid.


Its been a trying few days. Someone is out of my life who meant so much to me. I feel pretty lonely and its strange. I probably should not keep running the what-ifs through my head. It could have been more but it wouldnt have worked out anyway. :/ I feel really crappy.

I dont think I can wait even longer!! I finally get to see Alex after 2 months and 10 days of not seeing him! Ah my husband! I forget what he looks like :p

Last weekend was great, went home Thursday afternoon and had dinner with Caryn <3 - she cooked for me!! - and went in the hottub and watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Really great night! The rest of the time I was just hanging out with my mom and picking out the rest of my living room set.

About two and a half months until its about time for me to move! ahh!! Im not ready but at the same time I am. Its going to be so werid not spending the summer with my friends but Ill be back in July for the vacation with my family and Amanda. Well I guess we all have to grow up sometime :(

6:22pm: Wow Ive really been avoiding this thing.

Ok not much is new. Been busy planning my spring break trip. Ill be down in Pensacola from March 11th-20th. Awesome. Looking at appartments, for a job, and going to the beach... not to mention seeing my husband for the first time since January 1st. Thatll be nice. Haha I alwasy tell him I forget what he looks like.

Other than that school sucks. But whats new. I cant stress enough that Briarwood College is THE worst college ever made. It is God awful. I got on Deans list for doing absolutely NOTHING last semester. This semsester we all got yelled at on Wednesday night because 5 classes into the semester and 70% of us are failing. Wow thats sad.

I really dont have more than that going on in my life. Moving day is coming faster than I thought. But I wont get into that now.

1:22pm: HAMMY UPDATE:

So she slept nicely until about 3 am when she was climbing up and down her cage walls and hanging upside down like a bat. Then she felt the need to naw at the cage bars for about a half hour. At this point I popped her into the ball that turns into a wheel and let her run at that for about an hour. Bingo. That tired her out and she went right back to sleep soon as I put her back in her house.

Then it was cute because this morning I opened the shade in front of her house and she came out and went ontop of her hide-away and looked out the window. Just to be nosey I wanted to see what was in her hide-away so I lifted it up and found a nest and a pile of seed shells.

6:02pm: Today was a werid day in general. I had to get up around 9 for Business Mgt and I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. This weather is such a tease. It needs to stop pretending its spring and actually just hurry the hell up.

Im pretty excited about this weekend. Saturday night Im gettin the ole eyebrow pierced! Which as of now Im really excited about and not nervous at all. Not even thinking about the clamp and needle. Allll part of my changing myself plan. Eventually Im going to layer my hair, dye it for the most part a darker brown then underneath in the very bottom layer Im going to do that blonde or perhaps some other color. Probably blonde. Then Im going to start my tanning next month, unlimited for $40 a month. After that Ill get some new clothes and learn how to do makeup. Im sick of the old me. I need a renovation.

6:55pm: So not much is new.

Im busy planning my Sprin Break trip to Pensacola and finally things are falling into place. I got the plane tickets, March 11th to March 18th, I booked the hotel today, I picked out 8 appartment complexes that me and Alex liked and Mapquested them to see how far they were. All I have left to do is get the rental car and git over there.

Im really looking foreward to that. One of the appartment complexes we really like is on the Scenic Highway along the coast and it looks totally beautiful. AND its only 15 minutes from the base so he wont have a bad drive to work.

I have such mixed emotions about everything. Like usual its almost like I have a split personality. On one hand Im really looking foreward to being with Alex every day, having our own house and having our own lives, being our own family. But on the other hand, I get so sad thinking about how Im leaving everything behind, all my friends, family, my jobs, this life that Ive known for so long.

Once I get there I have to get a new job, because I think I can transfer to the TJMaxx in the area so that wont be an issue, Ill just work there until I can find a job that pays good and doesnt have shitty hours.

I cant believe how much my life is and will be changing. A year ago I would have never believed this is where Id be at.

Ok off to the gym.

2:22am: So today Ive KNOWN Alex for a year. It seems more than werid to rethink the past year and how much has happened and how much has changed.

I dont regret it at all. Meeting him is the best thing in my life and I couldnt be more thankful for that. This was the most amazing year and I would do anything to relive it.

From the first night of talking to him and our late night calls he always puts a smile on my face and I love him for who he is.

I was at school when I met him so I didnt actually physically see him for about a month. So in that time I got to know him totally, who he is on the inside. We were already dating and I fell in love with him before actually physically seeing him.

The day I first saw him and gave him a hug was amazing. I totally fell in love with someone I probably would have looked past and not even realized he is perfect for me.

Im so glad to be his wife. I couldnt love a person more that I do him.

1:03pm: Does anyone remember that van thing that used to go to the elementary schools and the whole class would go in and it looked like a trailor?? Then the people would talk about fire safety and werid smelling smoke came out of the walls and we had to "escape the fire in a safe way?"

12:13am: UGH.

So much of my life is going to change in the next 6 months and each day I get more sad/nervous/worried. In 6 months Ill be leaving everything. Ill be done with school, something Ive done for the past 14 years, daily. Ill be leaving my family, my room, my house. All of my friends. Leaving the life I know behind.

Alex tells me how he had to do the same thing but its different for a girl. He does not have a best friend and a crew like I do. He has no idea what its going to be like for me to leave my best friend up here.

Under all of this Ill be happy to be living with Alex but that seems like nothing compared to what I have to give up.

There are no Marshalls/TJMaxx within 30 miles of the base so I have to totally quit both my jobs and find something new. Find all new things.

I just want to cry.
